TLG x signals 2012
TLG Magazine were extremely pleased to be asked to join the organising team behind Signals Festival this year! We curated a stage at the festival on Saturday the 21st July and promoted DJs from around the UK including Mamiko Motto (NTS Radio) and Monki (Rinse FM) Our stage was decorated with visuals from Glasgow-based artist Diane Edwards. Many credible electronic music artists from around the UK attended Signals, including Konx-om-Pax, Randomer and objekt and panel talks which covered topics such as music in the digital age were hosted during the day by Angus Finlayston (Fact Magazine/The Quietus) and Jack Opus.
All in all the atmosphere of the festival was top notch. It was held in an old band rehearsal building called the Yellow Arch Studios just outside of Sheffield which consisted of many different rooms, staircases and a garden/patio area which contributed to the festival’s exclusive ‘house party vibe’. Signals is definitely the festival to be attending in 2013 as their debut definitely proved their credibility.
