Shave Your Head Jewellery
Shave Your Head is the brand new jewellery collection by Turkish illustrator, Rona Binay. Rona was born in Washington DC and raised in Ankara, Turkey. She has studied at both Bilkent University in Turkey and the School of Visual Arts’ in New York and now lives and works in Istanbul, although is soon to return to New York. Her illustrations have been featured in Juxtapoz and XOXO Magazine and her photography collection, The Garbage of Istanbul, won the John Jones 2D art competition in June 2012.
Her brand new Jewellery collection is set to launch this Autumn but Rona has given us a preview of her collection via her tumblr site, http://shaveyourhead.tumblr.com/. This new collection is fun and fiesty and as Rona states on her website, “THE WORLD IS FULL OF BULLSHIT, FUCKERS, BITCHES, CUNTS, NIPPLES AND SHIT AND YOU KNOW IT.*****”
