    I just heard Laura Nyro for the first time just a few months ago. She has since qiuckly taken over as my all time favorite Musical Artist. Her songs are amazing, her piano playing is enchanting, and her voice is absolutely the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard. I can’t understand why they never played her on the radio. Yea, I know they played other Artists doing covers of her songs, and they played other Artists who were influenced by her but they didn’t play HER and that ticks me off! No one else has ever performed Laura Nyro songs with anywhere near the passion, heart, and soul that Laura herself put into them. It makes me sad to think that I would have definitely been there for her as a devoted fan, gone to her shows, and bought her albums when she was still with us, had I but known of her genius.
