Converse has launched the third collection of the Comme des Garçons PLAY for Converse Pro Leather Edition. Following the great success of the two previous collaborations, Converse reunites with Japanese streetwear brand, Comme des Garçons to create four new styles of the iconic Converse Pro Leather sneaker. All styles were released globally yesterday and are available from June 1st at Dover Stree Market London and from their online store.

London street culture blog, BNTL created some looks from the Adidas Originals Blue Spring 2013 collection. The British rapping sensation, Nadsroic, originally from the Scottish Highlands, has finally returned to the UK after three years spent teaching English in Japan. She has recently settled down in London to launch a brand new compilation which will be released on Japanese label, Lo Vibes, on the 18th May. The compilation, entitled “Yokka” features a number of producers Nadsroic met during her time in Japan, including, Daisuke Tanabe, Yosi Horikawa, Repeat Pattern, jealousguy, Drastik Adhesive Force & of course Lo Vibe’s founder, KK. We headed down to Nightwave’s debut club night at La Cheetah in Glasgow last weekend and were pleasantly surprised to find that it had completely sold out and the crowd of people lucky enough to get in were all ready “taps aff”. Eclair Fifi and Nightwave played a back to back set for the first couple of hours, featuring many ghetto tech bangers, and with support from Jackie Your Body. Then just as the crowd were incredibly hyped, Nightwave introduced her special guest, Rustie to the mix, who then played a mixture of his own tunes amongst hip hop and rap club tunes.

The date of the next Nightrave hasn’t yet been officially announced but I would highly recommend getting down early so as to avoid disappointment as it’s bound to be mobbed!
